I had no idea my term holidays were the time for me to get sick and spend a week in bed....yep...thats what I've been up to. All those plans of what I was going to do over the break...gone....I don't think I have been so sick in years to keep me in bed for so long. ah well....I have ended up watching more TV in one week than I usually do in a year...that's an achievement isn't it?
Luckily my parents had planned to take my boys away for a few days so they were off having a good time....just wish I was at home having a good time....they are home now and I am better just in time to wash all their dirty laundry and start cleaning up after them again.
so not much to report...except a Movies watched report. Let me see...I love watching movies, but, as my husband can attest I have quite a limited taste in movies....
Lets see...
Ive watched
Little Miss Sunshine - actually quite depressing - it ends with no ones personal issues being dealt with, but is a good laugh along the way.
49 Up - I love this series. Not a Movie but I have seen all these documentaries since 7 up. (well I'm not that old, but Ive caught them all after the fact!) Very interesting stuff.
Motorcycle diaries - Compelling and beautiful.
Bride and Prejudice - fun fun fun twist on my fav movie and book.
and my favourite watch this week has been Love me if you Dare. - a French Movie, so you have to not mind subtitles. But I so love the quirkiness of French movies. This was funny, disturbing, provoking...fun.
so thats about it.
I can share some layouts...they have all been published. Not scrapping anything of late thats not going into the mag, so nothing fresh to show, but here ya go.
This first one is in My sisters Book - Debra Fuller. Kate Mason and Deb have written a book that has just come out. I still haven't seen it, but I know hours and hours and then more hours of sweat and tears went into this book, and both of them have soooo much talent, that the book just has to be fabulous. Called "The Heart of Design" Go and grab it!

Hi Daphney,
Hope that you survived your first experience of writing school reports O.K. (!!!!) and that you've been able to have a good rest these holidays, WITHOUT any sickness in the family! I'm looking forward to more layouts and news on your blog when you get a chance. (Hope Debra's and Melinda's families are going well too!)
Yours,
Denise
